Meet the Tutor

Join Halina Mihutskaya, an experienced actor and teacher, who began her acting journey in Odesa, Ukraine. After several years of performing, Halina transitioned to teaching and continued her career in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. There, she has continued as an independent performer, acting teacher, dramaturgist, and director.

Course Overview

This course is dedicated to unlocking the body, voice, and creativity, enhancing participants' presentation skills, and uncovering their creative potential. Halina draws from a rich tapestry of acting and performance practices, including Grotowski, Barba methods, Stanislavski, Meyerhold, Chekhov, and Terzopoulos, integrating her extensive on-stage and teaching experience.

Course Structure

The course is divided into two modules:

  1. September-October: Introduction to various acting techniques and exercises to liberate body and voice and thus unleash creativity.
  2. November-December: Focus on presentation skills and development of material chosen or created by the participants.
