A record of the intensive training, residencies, and artistic research that inform my current methodology.
2025 | The Ember: 7th Summer School of Studio Kokyu
Grotowski Institute, Wrocław, Poland
Led by Przemysław Błaszczak
A physical and vocal intensive held at the Grotowski Institute’s forest base in Brzezinka. This training investigated the performer’s action within both solo and group states, focusing on the body as an energetic and relational system.
Key focus areas:
Kokyu training: Body–breath–voice integration.
Partner work: Physical listening, contact, and responsive action.
Chorus work: Spatial awareness and “Contact Run” practice.
Voice work: Resonance and full-body vibration (“global resonator”).
Composition: Improvisation and score-based practice in natural environments.
2024 | International Residency: Social Impact & Environmental Sustainability
Turku University of Applied Sciences – Arts Academy, Finland
A collaborative performance research residency investigating the legacy of the Chornobyl catastrophe. My work focused on the body as a carrier of generational trauma and ecological memory, using symbolic imagery (the grey apple) to transform inherited history into embodied practice.
Research outcomes: Exploration of ecological catastrophe as internalized physical behavior, perception, and relational awareness.
2023 | FATE#3 – Talent Development Program
ZID Theatre, Amsterdam
A professional development trajectory for emerging makers. This program provided a framework for developing individual artistic voice, cultural positioning, and independent practice within the Dutch performing arts field.
Methodologies: Embodied storytelling, text-based composition, and pitch development.
Outcomes: Public presentations at ExploreZ Festival 2024, IthakaZa Cultural Stage, and solo showcases.
Impact: Enhanced ability to translate personal inquiry into professional, audience-facing performance formats.
2019 | The Method of Theodoros Terzopoulos (8th International Workshop)
Attis Theatre, Athens, Greece
Led by Savvas Stroumpos & Theodoros Terzopoulos
An intensive physical-vocal training rooted in contemporary approaches to ancient Greek tragedy. This training established my approach to text as rhythm and physical action, focusing on diaphragmatic activation and vocal resonance as a unified system.
2018 | Liquid Way to Action
Grotowski Institute, Wrocław, Poland
Led by Matej Matejka
An intensive physical theatre training exploring the transformation of movement into structured physical scores.
Research areas: Partner-based composition, contradiction as a creative principle (impulse vs. structure), and the integration of voice and breath in endurance-based work.
2018 | Odin Week Festival
Odin Teatret, Holstebro, Denmark
Led by Eugenio Barba & the Odin Teatret ensemble
An immersion into the laboratory practice of Odin Teatret, focusing on the performer’s dramaturgy, collective discipline, and the dynamics of long-term ensemble research.
2017–2019 | Actor Without Cover
Kyiv, Ukraine
Led by Ihor Aronov
A training program focused on presence, embodiment, and ensemble practice, serving as the foundational groundwork for my physical performance work.
Academic Foundation
BA in Art, Media and Culture | University of Amsterdam
A theoretical and practice-based degree focusing on the intersections of theatre, film, and cultural analysis. My studies explored how performance and screen-based media construct meaning through representation, narrative systems, and visual language, with particular attention to ideology, propaganda, and power dynamics. This academic foundation informs my current artistic research, where questions of representation and cultural construction are translated into physical and performative practice.
Key areas of focus: Theatre and film theory, media representation, performance analysis, and cultural discourse.
